HILS America Warranty

HILS America warranty our guitars for one (1) year against defects in materials and workmanship. Please retain your purchase receipt and your inspection card that came with your guitar in order to make a warranty claim. This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to guitars purchased from HILS America or a HILS America-authorized reseller. It does not cover HILS guitars purchased from sellers outside North America or instruments shipped outside North America.

- This warranty excludes strings, cases, and any parts repaired, replaced, or modified by anyone other than HILS America.

- This warranty is void on any instrument that has been modified, misused, neglected, or damaged, including any removal or modification to the serial number or parts of the instrument. Any instrument that, in the sole opinion of HILS America, has been subjected to negligence, alteration, temperature or humidity extremes, improper storage, damage, or other faults unrelated to materials and workmanship is not covered under the terms of this warranty.

- The buyer should contact HILS America at info@hilsamerica.com to initiate any claims under this warranty. Please provide your contact information and any pictures of the defect you wish to claim. Instruments returned to HILS America without pre-approval will be rejected for warranty service. The original proof of purchase receipt is also required to process your warranty claim as well as your original inspection card with the serial number and signature.

- Any instrument accepted for warranty service shall be returned at the buyer’s expense according to the return instructions provided with your pre-approved warranty claim. Buyer is responsible for proper packaging, insurance, and shipment cost to and from HILS America for the performance of warranty service. In certain cases, HILS America may send parts to the buyer to be installed at the buyer’s expense if they choose. HILS America is not responsible for any property damage or consequential damages (including loss of use or profits). In no case shall the extent of the manufacturer’s liability exceed the purchase price paid for the instrument.
